Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Benji One for using our WhatsApp assistant and the website at benji.benjione.com. By creating an account or messaging Benji One, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. You must use a WhatsApp number that you own or control. Our number is +1 204 453 5323, and we will never ask you for your password over WhatsApp.
2. Your account
You sign up with your WhatsApp number and confirm it with a one-time code we send you on WhatsApp. Keep your password private, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. One WhatsApp number can belong to one account.
3. What the service does
Benji One helps you remember and organise: it sets reminders, keeps lists, tasks and notes, and can show your calendar. You use it by chatting on WhatsApp or on the website, and the two show the same information.
4. It is an AI, and it can be wrong
Replies are written by AI and can be mistaken or incomplete. A reminder may arrive late or not at all, for example if WhatsApp is down, your phone is off, or we misread what you asked. Check anything that matters. Do not rely on Benji One for emergencies, medical, legal or financial decisions, or for anything where a missed or wrong reminder could cause harm.
5. How you may use it
You agree not to:
-
break the law, or use it to harass, threaten, deceive or spam anyone;
-
send messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you, or use the friends feature to pester them;
-
try to access someone else's account or data, or probe, overload or interfere with the service;
-
upload anything unlawful, or content you have no right to share;
-
copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing one.
6. Your content
What you send and save stays yours. You give us permission to store it and process it (including with our service providers, as our Privacy Policy explains) only so we can run the service for you.
7. WhatsApp, Google and other services
Benji One depends on WhatsApp, which Meta runs, and, if you connect it, Google Calendar. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we do not control them. If they change or stop working, parts of Benji One may too.
8. Availability, changes and price
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may change it, add limits, or introduce paid plans. If a change affects you materially, we will tell you before it takes effect.
9. Ending your use
You can stop any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the service, or if we have to by law.
10. No warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
11. Limit of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data, or for anything that comes from a reminder or reply that was wrong, late or missing. Where we are held liable despite this, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to a nominal sum. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we will tell you before it applies, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
